Andra kommentarer om hotellet: Lugnt område. Trevligt hotell, stannade bara två nätter där. Ägaren (en engelsman) mycket hjälpsam. Ingen bra badstrand i närheten men tog tuk-tuk till Nai Harn, ca 10-15 minuter. Underbar strand med kanon service av de som jobbade på stranden. [PhuketPortalen.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Andra kommentarer om hotellet: What a lovely surprise the Monaburi Resort was. We stayed in November 2011, having booked the Seaview room, which was on the top (3rd) floor - it was perfect. The room itself was large and very clean, the king size bed was soft (but not too soft), shower pressure was good and the bathroom was bigger than most. Room design was simple, yet stylish and finished with the good quality one would expect from most large hotels. Free internet in the room was excellent.
The resort is located off a semi-main road around the coast and is 100m down another small road, so it remains quiet and maintains the resort feel. There are small restaurants and bars on the main road and there is also a few 24/7 stores and a bank/ATM?s nearby.
The pool was lovely, even had jacuzzi jets at one end. Because the resort is low-rise accommodation, you can?t see the beach, but the small grounds surrounding the rooms were lovely, with tropical plants and frangipani trees. The pictures you see are accurate and the restaurant now has a solid Thai style roof over it. Although the Monaburi has been open for 4-5 years it looked like it only opened yesterday as its still in excellent condition!
The restaurant is located next to the pool and even though the menu is small, it is well-priced, no tourist-type mark-ups. The owners, Mona and Rob were perfect hosts and clearly take pride in their resort and it shows in the quality it?s kept. They provided great service, arranging drivers and finding out about opening times of shows, tours and events, without adding their own commission.
Rawai beach is not a swimming beach as it appears on the map, but this doesn?t matter, the owners can arrange a motorbike at non-tourist prices (about 200BHT rental for 24 hours) but it?s only a leisurely 10-20min ride to several swimming beaches. For a day trip to Coral island and south to others, it?s a great location, as it?s not far from the jetty.
Overall this was a great place to stay, good value for money. The quality of Monaburi is refreshing. We?d recommend this resort to those that want a quality stay away from the usual holiday resorts and packed touristy spots, yet want convenient access to everything. Andra kommentarer om hotellet: Really nice boutique hotel and really good value. Owners were brilliant helping us arrange cars/bikes and anything else we needed. Bout a 5 min walk from the beach where all the bars and restaurants are but wouldn t consider that an issue at all. Pool is gorgeous too and the whole hotel is really well maintained. Would definitely go back.

Andra kommentarer om hotellet: This place is an absolute find. The rooms are pristine and the pool is fabulous. We had booked in for one night but couldn t drag ourselves away and stayed for two! The owners are very helpful and this little oasis shouldn t be missed. Excellent value. We ll be recommending this place to friends in England and will be back next time we come to Phuket!

Andra kommentarer om hotellet: My stay at Monaburi was really nice, the place is clean, very new with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The rooms are great and excellent value. Only a few minutes walk from Rawai beach. Above all, the owner/managers made me feel not like guest but like family. They were very warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend it for those who like the personal touches of staying in small boutique style place. [PhuketPortalen.com integr.ERR:escaping]
